Spanish and culture programs combine high-quality learning with cultural activities that are fun, engaging and help you get a deeper sense and understanding of the country you are visiting and the Spanish speaking world. Why stay in the classroom when you can get out and explore and learn about the topics and subjects that you are passionate about? Our classrooms in Latin America have no walls!
Different Spanish schools have diverse options, but most cultural activities include dance (tango, salsa, son, merengue), Spanish & cooking classes, music workshops and varying cultural excursions. In Cusco (Peru) you can take weaving lessons and pottery, while at the school in La Paz you can learn about indigenous languages and take Quechua classes. In Cuba, you can earn how to make the traditional Cuban cigar. The cultural activities are very specific to the region in which you decide to study.
At some locations you can take a Spanish & Latinamerican literature course, and in Cusco you can follow the Spanish & Inca Civilization course.
