Traveling Classroom Peru
The travelling Classroom in Peru is a unique adventure and the best way to Learn Spanish while exploring Peru. With a small group of students, you will take Spanish lessons at different locations in Peru and do several tours and two stunning hikes. Immerse yourself in the Spanish language and Peruvian culture while traveling in Peru from Lima to Cusco and Machu Picchu.
The travelling classroom in Peru combines Spanish lessons at different locations in Peru with exciting tours and activities. The program starts with a 5-day Spanish course in the capital city Lima. From there, we travel along the coast to Arequipa. After that, we stop for a boat trip to the Ballestas Islands and sand boarding near Ica, where we will sleep in a nice hostel near the Huacachina oasis. In the second week we hike in the beautiful Colca Canyon near Arequipa, and sleep with a local family on one if the islands on Lake Titicaca, before we continue our trip to Cusco.
In Cusco, you do a Spanish group course and live with a Peruvian host family – a great way to immerse yourself in the culture and practice your Spanish. You will love the friendly people and the lovely Peruvian Food. Before heading to the Sacred Valley in week 4, you first visit the impressive Rainbow Mountain at 5000 m above sea level. During the Spanish lessons in the sacred Valley during week 4, there is an opportunity to visit picturesque villages like Pisac and Ollantaytambo.
The Travelling Classroom in Peru ends the famous Inca Citadel Machu Picchu: most of us will go hiking and do the 5-Day Salkantay Trek, but you can also take the train the traverses the beautiful valley.
