OUR SPANISH SCHOOL IN BOCAS DEL TORO
Bocas del Toro is a relaxed Caribbean Island town in Panama. There is an authentic, laidback Caribbean vibe throughout the town ánd the Spanish school. The school is conveniently located in the centre of Bocas town, behind the Main Street, and houses up to 35 students. The school has a large front garden with palm and fruit trees, tropical plants, hammocks and lounge chairs. After Spanish classes, you can participate in plenty of outdoor activities such as sea horse riding, zip line, kayaking, surfing or biking. The school in Bocas is all about feeling at home.

The students love the casual setting of this Spanish school in Bocas. The Spanish classes do not only take place in the classrooms but also on the sunny balcony, in the little huts and the café. The school offers you Spanish courses that are diverse, focused on your continual development and of course, a lot of fun. The classes take place from 8 – 12 or 1 – 5.
You can choose between Spanish group classes (4 hrs or 6 hrs per day) or individual lessons. There is a maximum of 6 students in group classes. Other options are include
Spanish & Yoga, Spanish & Dive (obtain two levels of your PADI) Spanish & Surf.
The school offers three types of accommodation in Bocas del Toro: a hostel, a local family’s B&B or in an apartment.
The school’s very own hostel is an amazing spot to meet people from all over the world to share the great Caribbean vibe. There are private and shared rooms, free Wi-Fi, free coffee and tea, a fully equipped kitchen and hammocks to relax and chill in.
Living at the B&B of a local family is a great way to improve your Spanish skills. The friendly families in Panama will teach you the true Caribbean lifestyle.
In addition to the Spanish classes, there is a variety of activities for the tropical afternoons in Bocas del Toro. There are stunning beaches where you can go for sunbathing, swimming and or just to take a stroll. Other options are boat trips, cycling, surfing and snorkelling. The school offers Latin American cooking classes, and on Friday nights, the school hosts a barbecue that includes free drinks during Happy Hour.
Bocas del Toro (Bocas or Bocas Town), is an easy-going island town in Panama, loved by locals and visitors alike. Bocas is known for its unparalleled beauty and vibrant nightlife. Once you arrive, you never want to leave. The Caribbean atmosphere comes from its incredible beaches with crystal clear waters and white sand beaches. Bocas is located on the beautiful Isla Colón (named after Christopher Columbus); you can find restaurants, travel agencies, hotels, shops, a bank and a small airport.
There is a large diversity of animal species on the island: sloths, monkeys, poison dart frogs and many different birds — there even eight different kinds of turtles in the area. The rich vegetation and diverse habitats, such as reefs and mangroves, are protected by the national marine park.
The school in Bocas offers you different volunteering opportunities. Volunteer work is a great way to immerse yourself in the culture of Panama while helping the local community. The volunteer projects are divided into two fields of interest: education and health. You can teach English at a school, help to care ae of people in an elderly home, and volunteer in a free healthcare centre (if you have a medical background).
