“I studied for 3 weeks in Cartagena and had a really great time. My host family was really great, they were so nice and helpful. I definitely recommend to stay with a host family. It’s a good way to integrate in the life of Colombians and off course to practice your Spanish. The city is beautiful and the weather is always sunny and there is a good nightlife. Colombians are really friendly and open for contact. The school is close to the old city center and there are many restaurants around the school for lunch. In the school you will find students from all ages and it’s easy to make contact.”

Cusco is a great location to study Spanish. The Spanish they speak is slower and easier to understand than many other Latin America countries. The Spanish school employs some very good teachers. I studied for 4 weeks and did both group and private, so I had quite a few different teachers. Classes were conversation intensive, which really helped to boost my level of Spanish!

This school on Cusco is a great place to meet like minded people who are there to learn Spanish, travel and volunteer. The school makes the integration easier through various activities e.g. salsa & cooking classes. The staff is very friendly and the lunches are great. The location provides a great view of Cusco and is very close to the centre of the city (Plaza de Armas).
The introduction to the volunteer project is great. Martina, the volunteer coordinator, organizes the first visit to the location, shows you the direction to get there and introduces you to the people you work with which is a big help.

We are a professional married couple and we were at the school in Cusco for 8 weeks. We had a great time and were really looked after by the staff. The school is well organized with friendly staff who organizes a weekly timetable of group classes , organized by ability. The teachers are well prepared and engaging. The school also has a program of activities in the evening, which are fun. There is a wide range of people of all ages at the school. The school also organizes volunteering, which is done in a friendly and professional way. There are on-site residences which are well maintained and have staff on site 24 hours. This allows them to enforce the quiet at night rule, so we could sleep well at night. We had a really good time and would recommend to anyone.
