school description This Spanish language school is located in the modern part of Santiago, the capital of Chile. It is situated on a quiet street, next to some quaint restaurants and popular parks and just ten minutes away from Barrio Bellavista, Santiago´s bohemian neighbourhood. The school is also just three subway stops away from the city centre. It is located in a charming, old mansion that was built in the 20th century and is now declared a national historic monument. With one on one attention and an encouraging atmosphere, this school provides the perfect environment to learn Spanish.

The school has 9 bright classrooms, a library and a garden with a ping pong table. There is also a cafeteria with 5 computers and Wi-Fi is available throughout the whole building.


school description You may choose to take 20, 30 or 35 (30 group and 5 private) hours of Spanish classes per week. For private lessons, you can choose your schedule according to your preference. There is a maximum of 8 students per class, but generally there are approximately 4 students per class.

The courses are divided into seven different levels. One level takes 1 week to finish, which means that the fundamental Spanish grammar is done in only 7 weeks.

In the beginner and intermediate levels, the school works with workbooks, which students receive for free. In the advanced level, the school uses videos, newspaper articles, literature, films and music of Chilean songwriters to create a more interactive classroom that focuses on reading, listening, and conversation.

The teaching method used is communicative and interactive. All teachers are native speakers with a university degree and many years of experience.

Special Spanish courses include commercial Spanish, Medical Spanish, Spanish for lawyers, Spanish and wine, Spanish and skiing and DELE examination preparation.


The school offers carefully selected options for accommodation. All housing options are within a 45 minute radius from the school. There are different options for accommodation. You can opt for a shared apartment, where you will have a private bedroom, but will share everything else with a Chilean flat owner and/or other students. Another option is a family home stay. This gives you the opportunity to live with a Chilean family, taste real Chilean food, improve your Spanish and get to know the culture. Other options for housing include hostels, hotels, mini-apartments or one-room studios.


Activities In addition to teaching Spanish, the school is also dedicated to giving students insight into the culture, socio-economical, political, ecological and historical aspects of Chile. Once a week, the students will visit museums, memorials, vineyards, etc. together with the school. Other activities in Santiago include:

  • A welcome reception with wine and empanadas for new students
  • Chilean cinema
  • Salsa classes
  • Free guided field trips in Santiago (such as a visit to a vineyard with wine-tasting, or a visit to a museum)
