SPANISH PROGRAM IN LA PAZ

La Paz Bolivia Spanish classes are available for any level, both group courses and individual courses. The maximum number of students in group classes is 6 students. The school also offers medical Spanish courses, a DELE preparation course and courses of native Bolivian Languages, Avmara and Quechua.

Courses are designed to meet the needs of the students, whether that´s practicing conversation skills, business Spanish or preparation for an exam. The classes are structured in a way to improve grammar, conversation skills, reading and listening, all while creating real-life situations to improve students´ skills the maximum possible.

The teachers working at the school are highly qualified individuals who are motivated to aid students in the language learning process and share the rich Bolivian culture.

ACCOMMODATION IN LA PAZ

There are three different types of accommodation available to students in La Paz.

If you are looking to completely immerse yourself in the Bolivian culture, staying with a host family is perfect for you. Not only will you learn about their culture in an up close and personal way, but you will also have the opportunity to practice Spanish with native speakers. Families are selected with care in order to provide students with the best possible experience. All Bolivian host families are located at a maximum of 25 minutes walking distance from the school. Breakfast and laundry service are included, and additional meals can be arranged upon request.

For students who want to have a more independent housing experience, it is possible to stay in a student flat in La Paz. The students are provided with a fully equipped kitchen, towels and bed sheets. The apartments are located close to the historic neighborhood and are approximately 15 minutes walking distance from the school.

Students who would like to stay in a hotel or hostel in La Paz have many options. The school can recommend hostels and hotels near the school, as well as near the Sagarnaga neighborhood where the markets, bars and restaurants are located.

La Paz is the governmental capital of Bolivia, with an altitude of 3660 meters. The beautiful narrow alleys, colourful markets and remarkable buildings make this city very pleasant to explore. From La Paz, you will able to see the peaks of Mount Illimani covered with snow during clear days. You will also be able to enjoy good restaurants, cozy cafes, several bars, shopping areas and a fun nightlife. Furthermore, it is easy to stick to a low budget, as La Paz is known to be one of the cheapest cities of South America.
