There are programs of 20 or 30 hours a week, with the option to take group classes, individual classes, or a combination of both. There is a maximum of eight students per group. Before starting your course, you will take a written and oral placement test to determine the appropriate Spanish level for you. There is also a special program for Spanish for 55+ and Spanish for DELE.

A great day trip is a visit to the Arenal Volcano to see the flowing, red lava and combine this with a visit to hot springs. Other options are the La Paz Waterfalls or take a cruise to Isla Tortuga.
