Study Spanish Latin America (SSLA) offers Spanish courses in Latin America at selected Spanish Schools in 15 different Spanish speaking countries. Students can combine Spanish classes, with a local homestay, volunteer work, internships, a gap year, and tours or treks.
Here at SSLA, we are passionate about the Spanish language, South America and Spain. We love the colourful culture, the traditions, the music, and the people. We are admirers of the Latin American cultures and history; we love the food, the fiestas, and the spectacular scenery and the dramatic views. We have extended travel experience in Latin America, and we know all the schools.
Our journey started in 1998, when we opened a Spanish School in Peru. In 2007 we expanded to Buenos Aires, Argentina. We offer Spanish courses in Latin America through this portal, since 2010, thanks to an amazing network of partnerschools. In 2020, we proudly added Study Spanish in Spain and we launched a special program for Online Spanish Courses, offering now a complete range of opportunities to learn Spanish!

About our Spanish Schools
Why did we choose the Spanish schools that we work with?
All our Spanish schools have a few things in common, of which the most important are:
All our Spanish schools are located in top destinations in Latin America with an interesting offer for leisure and fun after Spanish lessons. All the schools are medium-sized, where you can still feel a personal atmosphere and where the team will know you by your name.
We’ve found our Spanish schools to be reliable, safe and trustworthy. On top of that, we love that those Spanish schools take their responsibility in giving back to the local community and support the community with donations (money or goods), the organisation of events (e.g. Christmas parties for Kids), the construction of a playground in a project for kids, and many others.
*since SSLA is part of Dos Manos Nederland B.V our official address is in the Netherlands but part of our team works from Peru. We prefer to be in the area.
